Where can I purchase race photos?

Where can I see my results?

Where is the event located?

The event is located at 5th Street and Ocean Drive in South Beach at the southern tip of Lummus Park.

If the event is sold out, can I be put on a wait list?

No. Once the event is sold out, we will not be taking any other entries or have any wait lists.

Can I check in on Sunday?

Yes, but we strongly recommend that you pick up your packet on Saturday. Sunday there will be long lines and waits, and the race will not start late due to late check-ins.

Can I drop off my bike on Saturday?

No, there is not a bike drop-off available on Saturday. Please bring your bike with you on Sunday morning.

Can my relay teammates pick up my packet for me, or can someone else pick up my packet for me?

No, all individuals and members of a relay team must pick up their own packets and bring photo ID. You may not have someone else pick up your packet for you.

Can I sign up the day of the event?

Registration will available the day of the race if the event is not sold out. It is expected the event will sell out, early registration is highly reccomended.

Do I need to wear a wetsuit?

USAT rules stipulate that each age group participant shall be permitted to wear a wetsuit without penalty in any sanctioned event up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees, but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wetsuit at their own discretion, provided however that participants who wear a wetsuit within this temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Age group participants shall not wear wetsuits in water temperatures equal to or greater than 84 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is the swim start a mass start or wave start?

The start of the race will be in waves.

Can I run with an MP3 Player?

No participant shall, at any time during the event use or wear a hard cast, headset, radio, personal audio device, or any other item deemed dangerous by the Head Referee. Any violation of this shall result in a variable time penalty.

What is the mountain bike division?

The mountain bike division is for those people who are racing using a mountain bike instead of a road bike.  The width of your tires must be 1.75 inches or larger.  These tires can be smooth, knobby, or with tred.

Will there be bike tech available on the course?

Yes, bike tech on the course will be provided by Cannondale and City Bikes.

Do you offer refunds?

No, there are no refunds or transfers to other individuals, events or years offered on the event registration. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable with no exception.

Can I transfer my individual race entry to another person?

No, individual registrations MAY NOT be transferred from one person to another.  Relay teams may switch members and should contact info@nauticasobetri.com to do so.
