Saturday Packet Pick-Up

As we all know parking in Miami Beach can be a headache, we have tried to relieve some of that stress by reserving 100 discounted parking spots on Saturday for packet pickup at Laz Parking Garage at 5th and Collins. These are on a first come first serve basis and discounted rate is only valid for 1.5 hours.  The entrance to this garage is on Collins Ct. (the alley between Collins and Washington) Packet Pickup is from 1:00-5:30pm on March 31st.

• Start by printing out the Saturday Parking Pass here.
• Bring this pass with you to Laz Parking and show it to the attendant located on the top level of the garage, they will direct you to where you should park
• Park and make your way down to the beach to pick up your packet and meet with other athletes
• Upon leaving make sure you have your Ticket, Saturday Parking Pass and Race Bib ready to show the cashier (third floor) for validation; this is the only way you get the discounted rate of $7.00 which must be paid in EXACT cash.
• Get some rest and get ready for Race Day!

Driving Directions: Take the MacArthur Causeway/I-395/US 41 into Miami Beach. Continue straight onto 5th St. Follow 5th St until you reach Collins Ave. Make a U-Turn at Collins Ave followed by an immediate right into Collins Ct. (the alley just behind the Equinox Gym Building. The entrance to the Parking Garage will be on your Right).

City Owned Parking Garage at 7th and Collins – Entrance to Garage is on 7th St (one way street heading Eastbound).

Directions: From the MacArthur Causeway, take 5th St into Miami Beach, make a left onto Washington, followed by a Right Turn onto 7th St. then make a right into the parking structure.

Rate: Flat rate between $12-20*

Standard Parking Garage at 5th and Washington - Entrance is on 6th St (one way street heading eastbound)

Directions: From the MacArthur Causeway, take 5th St into Miami Beach, make a left onto Washington, followed by a Right Turn onto 6th St. then make a right into the parking structure.

Rate: Flat between $15-30*

If you are lucky enough to come across a street parking spot in Miami Beach, please read the posted signs nearby. In general, parking is not enforced between 3AM and 9AM.

Sunday, April 7th
Parking for Race Day

All parking is on a first come first served basis. Parking in Miami Beach is extremely limited. The garages and routes below are only recommendations. Many of the garages will fill early in the morning – if you have a bike with you and don’t mind a short ride or if you are planning to arrive after 6AM, you should bypass the first five parking garages listed and head directly to the largest parking lot at the Miami Beach Convention Center. It is the farthest garage from the event site, but has the largest capacity and is best equipped to handle a large number of cars.

Because of the nightlife in Miami Beach, many of the garages (both city and privately owned) charge flat rates of $15-$20 for cars arriving before 5:30AM - however some public garages go back to charging hourly rates after 5:30AM.

*Keep in mind that rates are subject to change frequently throughout the year and might change by race day.

* Any cars arriving after 6AM should follow Option 2, drive directly to Lot #6 on the map at 17th St & Convention Center Dr. (see option 2 below) – all other lots are expected to fill by 6AM.

Option 1: Route for checking all Major Parking Garages in Miami Beach (For Cars Arriving before 6AM)

• Follow the MacArthur Causeway Straight onto 5th St and continue to follow 5th St until you reach Washington Ave.
• Make a LEFT on Washington Ave
• LOOK right down 6th St and see if the privately owned Garage #1 still has space available (entrance on 6th - 280 parking spots).
• If the Garage #1 is full, continue straight on Washington until you reach 7th St.
• Make a RIGHT on 7th and see if the Public Garage #2 has any space available (entrance on 7th – 650 parking spots)
• If the Garage #2 is Full, make an immediate LEFT on Collins Ave and continue north
• On Collins Ave, between 10th and 11th check to see if privately owned Pelican Garage #3 is Full (entrance on Collins – 300 parking spots)
• If the Garage #3 is full, continue north on Collins until you reach 13th St.
• At 13th St, LOOK right to see if the Public Garage #4 is full (entrance is on 13th – 285 parking spots).
• If the Garage #4 is full, continue north on Collins until you reach 16th St.
• Make a LEFT on 16th St. On 16th between Collins and Washington, there will be a very large public Garage #5 (800 parking spots) on your left and a smaller private garage on your right. Check to see if either garage has any space available.
• If both of the 16th Street Garages are full, continue straight/West on 16th past Washington until you reach Meridian Ave.
• Make a RIGHT on Meridian Ave and another RIGHT on 17th St.
• At the intersection of 17th and Convention Center Dr. make a RIGHT into the large parking structure – Garage #6 (1460 parking spots)
• If this Garage #6 fills, simply make a left on Convention Center Dr. and then make another left into the large surface parking lot across from the Miami Beach Convention Center (entrance on Convention Center Dr. - 600 parking spots).

Option 2: For any Cars Arriving after 6AM – To go straight to Lot #6 – Convention Center Garage

• To reach Lot #6 on the map, get in the left lane of the MacArthur Causeway and take the Alton Rd exit ramp from the left lane of the causeway.
• Go north on Alton Rd until you reach 17th.
• Make a Right on 17th and a Right into the Convention Center Parking Garage (#6 on the map).
